1981 911 SC coupe, Pacific Blue, 19,500.
This spectacular SC was ordered in Pacific Blue metallic paint with saddle leather interior, Fuchs 16″ forged light alloys, air conditioning, electric sunroof, fully tinted glass with graduated windshield tint, Bosch fog lights, electrically adjustable and heated side mirrors, rear window defroster, 3 spoke leather steering wheel with raised hub, leather seats, and a Blaupunkt radio (since replaced with a modern CD). It’s been upgraded to the classic early 930 spoiler, and it’s had it’s Fuchs centers polished out for that early RS look. It’s truly stunning! At 81k. miles, it was freshly tuned and serviced, which is minor compared to the extensive maintenance completed by the previous owner. At about 70k, it developed a broken head stud, and,… rather than just fixing it,… they took the opportunity to do a complete top end rebuild/reseal, and replaced the clutch. We have just done a thorough service, including an air conditioning charge, and she’s ready to go! Come give her a drive! These 3.0 liter SC cars were much quicker, and nimbler than their later Carrera big brothers. Just too much fun!
