100% Correct Body and trim, includes purchase order book and manual. Nice daily driver with factory S mechanics and drivetrain! Additional Information on the originality and authenticity of the 1969 911 SThe first major overhaul of the 911 took place with the 1969 models. To improve handling the wheel base was lengthen by 2.4 inches to measure 89.4 inches. This was done by increasing the length of the rear trailing arms to move the rear wheels back without relocating the engine. The front and rear wheel opening where flared slightly to accommodate larger wheels and tires. Heating and the ventilating systems where revised, with a 3 speed blower fan installed and the vent windows becoming fixed. Interior changes included a smaller steering wheel with padded horn button, A day/Night rear view mirror mounted on the windshield, A flip-out ash tray in the center of the dash panels lower edge, And door panels with larger storage pockets. The heat regulator control was moved to the floor next to the gearshift. A hand throttle was also installed in that location. The single 45-amp battery was replaced twin 12 volt, 35-amp Batteries mounted in each fenders before the front wheels. This was to increase handling balance. Three model lines where offered 911 T, 911 E, 911 S. The S (Super) Model had bosch fuel injection while the T remained carburated. The S model now put out 170 HP. It also came with an extra oil cooler mounted in the right front fender. Fuchs 6Jx15 Wheels, Shock absorbers and torsion bars where standard on the S model. Capacitive discharge ignition was added. Air pumps disappeared from the U.S Emissions controls. The S had vented disc and alloy front calipers. Porsche added another digit to its serial numbers in 1969. The first two digit designated the model (”11″ for 911) and the third was still the model year (”9″ for 1969). The fourth was now the engine fitted: 3 = 911S The fifth number was the body;0 = Coupe. The last four digits 0680 where the sequential individual build numbers.
