| 1987 porsche 944 naturally aspired. 170k miles 5-speed. 968 wheels. Drives straights, no major accidents, idles smooth, shifts perfectly. Good radio, small amp and small subwoofer sounds decent.Records dating back to 1994. Most of them (1999-present).Recent Major Work:2001- 120k miles: Installed rebuilt transmission gear box, New clutch, Timing belt service, New head gasket2002- Clutch master, slave, 968 wheels 2004- Compressor, Dryer, Starter, Converted ac system to 134a2007- timing belt, top end seals, cam housing gasket o-rings, new tiresSwitch to synthetic blend 2002, last 2 years on 4qrts Mobil 1 + 2qts mobil 1 high mileage. Idles so much smoother than before.All scheduled maintenance and tune ups done either by myself or mechanic. Not so good things first:Paint. Its original.Odometer stopped working 4 yrs ago. I avg less than 10k / year. I have worked less than 10 miles from work last 10 years. Bought car with 123k miles 2002. You can do the math. A/c climate control unit and dash fan broken = no A/C. Motormounts and shocks eventually. Original paint with rear right panel (see pic) and sunroof paint fading. Small leak in power steering reservoir. Right radiator fan spins slower than other. Some switches in dashboard inoperable (emergency blinker works but dislodged, no cigarette lighter). Interior is showing its yearsGood things:Clean carfax. No major accidents (just a couple fender benders, see pics).New transmission, cluth 2001 which works perfect. All imp timing belt service up to date.Records dating back to 1994. Since 2001 Over $10,000 (in records) invested. Thousands more w/out records example: oil changes and tune ups, wheel and radio upgrades, etc worked by myself and previous owner. History: Owned for first 112k miles (til 2000) by wife and nephew Patti and Brian Ellis of dealership owner (Volvo I think). Next owner 2000-02 got rid of car cause wife pregnant. Have his detailed work log. Really brought the car back to life. Current owner: Me. From one day to another my old man was cool enough to drive it down from Atlanta as a birthday present. Only left me stranded twice in 6 years ownership(starter and bad relay switch, both replaced)Reason for selling: Time for an upgrade.If interested call me to take it out for a spin.
