Porsche 356a 356 (Orange County) $30000
For Sale, a 1958 Porsche 356A “Outlaw”, VIN#102262. This car could be your daily driver, weekend warrior or a restoration candidate with A LOT of documentation going back to 1971.  As much as I love this car I have to part with it.  I have owned her for 18 months and have done a number of repairs and as well as some neat research. The car was purchased from a Southern California owner who kept it garaged. It is currently garaged in Orange County, CA and driven about 50 miles a week. The car comes with 35+ years of receipts for work done by 5+ owners, a couple of samples are pictured below, I have all the originals in a binder.  I have even used the receipts to find one of the previous owners who is now in his seventies, he graciously sent me pictures of the car from the early 80s, in the black color pictured below. As you can see it used to be black and was repainted silver at some point, from what I was told by the last owner, the silver is the BMW M3 silver. The car seems to be mostly original with the exception of the 912 engine. The radio is a replacement from the 70s (?), the wheel is a Nardi and I’ve been told the rearview mirror is highly coveted for some reason I can’t recall. The engine is a Porsche 912 engine which definitely gives it some extra power, see the video to see the car running. When I bought the car there was an electrical issue that took quite some time to troubleshoot so the battery has been replaced with a deep cycle gel 6v. The tach has been restored by North Hollywood Speedometer but has not been hooked back up. The rear axle boots were also quite old and leaking so both were replaced. The engine runs strong and turns over first time if the car is driven regularly. In terms of the body,     it not perfect, the gap on the passenger side door is not correct as seen in the close up shots. The hood fit is slightly off as well. I am no expert but I ran over the car with a magnet and it seems to be mostly metal if that means anything. There is some deterioration around the rear window seals. When I wash her down she stays dry inside however. The interior back seats are incomplete and the front ones have a couple of small tears as documented in the pictures. The gas tank has the same # as the tag on the door jam so I’m assuming that makes it the original. I dinged up the rear nerf bar area and had some bodywork done on a 6” diameter area about 9 months ago by one of the top body shops around. That receipt as well as the rest of the work I have done is included in the documentation. Lastly there is a small pressure ding on the driver side bumper, a close up picture follow. This is an amazing car that looks beautiful even as you come right up to it. The interior needs some work but it is a classy, sparkling looking driver with an amazing history that keeps getting passed down. This car should go to someone who respects the tradition and heritage of the 356 and continue the record keeping we have all done along the way.Inspections are are welcome. 1952 porsche 356 coupe (pasadena) $55000
Found at an estate sale. This is the rarest of the rare pre 356 true rubber split window.I have the signed-off California title (pink slip) which has had the same title holder for 42 years. The only rust on the car is surface rust where the paint has chipped-off. Comes with NIB Winshield wipers, spark plugs, excellent condition original Hub caps. Original engine is nowhere to be found. Has a 1960 1600S motor. Both bumpers appear to be from a 356A. Buyer gets first refusal on 4 Sudrad 3.25 x 16" rims which are being sold seperately. chassis # is 11127. 1959 Porsche 356-A Coupe
Price: $39K obo.
This 59 coupe is VIN# 107945. the motor is #600838. both the hood and the decklid are original, stamped 945 and do not show any signs of previous damage.

This car is a dream for anyone interested in restoring an early 356 coupe or doing very little to is and driving it as is! It is 98% complete! It has all of the original parts like: complete front and rear bumpers, rear grille, front hood handle, all moldings, glass, deck-lid rack, front and rear seats, pop-out latches, inner and outer door handles, window cranks, gauges, ash tray, stock radio (in working condition), dash grab-handle, steering wheel with working horn, Original-matching numbers engine, 4-speed transmission, stock wheel including spare, original 6-volt electrical system, etc...

This car was originally black with red interior. It is obviously silver with red original interior now, non-sunroof coupe with very, very little rust. In fact, the only rust on the car is in the bottom of the doors (easy fix!!!).

Nearly everything works on this car! It runs great but could use a carb adjustment and a new valve cover gasket. The motor was rebuilt roughly 10K miles ago when in possession of the previous owner. The gas gauge works but the needle is broken on the Speedo. Windows work, wipers work, lights work, blinkers work, radio works (but no speakers), seats slide, seats recline, hood latches and unlatches, deck lid latches and unlatches, both hood and deck-lid stay open with factor stops and close doors open and close, door handles lock with the key, ignition works perfectly, glove box opens and closes, etc...

Missing items include: the carpet.

Overall, this is a great car, solid investment and a dream I hate to let go!

I have more pictures and the ones you see here are not the best quality as I had to resize them to post them. I will be happy to email them to any and all interested parties.
