| I’m putting my car out there to see how much I can get for it and using the money to pay off some bills. If you’re looking for a Porsche that should drive like it suppose to then this is the car you want. The engine sounds awesome and the power seems unlimited especially on 2nd and 3rd gear, it just keeps on pulling. With the engine completely rebuild there is NO OIL LEAKS, NOT A DROP!!! The car starts up every time and you could drive it anywhere without any problems. I’m not in a rush to sell it so please do not call or email me with any low offers, this car is extremely fun to drive with all that power. Since I brought the car less than a year ago I had done the following:- completely rebuild the engine by professional German Auto shop in Pasadena, I’m still in the process of breaking in the engine.- new clutch- Carrera Chain Tensioner Update Kit- new ignition wire set- new ignition coil- new rebuilt distributor- new oil cooler at front fender- new rebuilt Warm Up Regulator- 911 sc carbon fiberglass air box upgrade – 800% more air volume- K& N air filter- Fabspeed Motorsports Dual Outlet High Performance Muffler, you can listen to the sound and watch their video at www.fabspeed.com- Fabspeed Motorsports Race Catalytic Converter, I still have the original catalytic converter if you want it.As you can see I already did about 95% of the major repairs in restoring the car. Your looking at a fine automobile that has been cared for with meticulous high standards and stands in a class by itself. This is a very unique Porsche and will definitely stand out from the rest of the Porsche Carrera 996 out there.
Start with a set of expensive 19" inch staggered forged hyper silver wheels with deep polished chrome lips from front to back (19x8.5 in the front & 19x10 in the rear) ridding on 235/35/19ZR tires on the front and 285/30/19ZR tires made by NITTO which has 90% thread life in them. This Porsche comes equipped with Xenon headlights, smoke front markers and rear smoked corner lights, the PSM & Technique package with the original Porsche AERO KIT in addition to an aftermarket roof spoiler, matching painted rear bumperetts, rear GEMBALLA style wing with intakes on both ends that performs phenomenal engine cool down.
To handle better corners on the road, a front carbon fiber shock tower strut bar (made by Rockport) was installed and H&R springs on all four wheels which lowered the front by 1 inch and the rear by 1.5 inch. This Porsche hugs the road like it was on rails. The entire brake system has been upgraded to a huge 13” BREMBO cross-drilled rotors and calipers from front to back with partial stainless steel lines.
Inside of the engine compartment is Porsche famous 24 valve 3.4L H6 DOHC F1 engine that has NOT been abused and NOT a single fluid leak anywhere. This engine has many upgraded performance parts installed to spec’s that is too much to list and you’ll be amaze on the power of this Porsche. Although, recently installed is a GEMBALLA exhaust dual chrome tips, a fully modified cold air intake with a K&N filter, new factory Porsche battery and a ground stabilizer unit. The sound of this engine is something to hear. Finishing touches consist of a stainless steel plate underneath the engine compartment to enclose and protect the engine from low ground clearance.
From the interior we have matching color Speed Yellow center consol and ORCIARI sport seat shell backing (made in Italy) with power adjustable black sport leather seats, silver & chrome interior trims, custom pre-wired cellular phone (Sprint service) with hands free & mic where you can hear the caller on the stereo speakers, three spoke steering wheel with Porsche crest, Gemballa black satin colored gauge faces with silver & chrome gauge rings, stainless steel Porsche gas, break, clutch pedals with foot rest, stainless steel door entry plates with Porsche crest, custom Porsche floor mats, CD retractable storage, power windows, power door locks, L/R remote heated mirrors, power sun roof, telescopic steering wheel, retractable cup holders, cruise control, central locking system, fully automatic climate control with cold A/C, a 6 speed manual transmission with a B&M short shifter that shifts quick and smooth with NO problems.
As for the sound system is to fall in love with. Installed is a top of the line motorized retractable Kenwood CD stereo/player powered by a clean sounding 400 watt Phoenix Gold amp with crossovers and gold plated connectors, four 6.5” mid-bass speakers (TWO in the front and TWO in the rear), four 2" inch door tweeters from front and back (all made by MB Quartz), a pair of stock 5” inch speakers on the dash L/R and top it off with a 8” inch powered sub in the rear made by Bazooka for that extra bass. The sound system alone cost $5,000.00. This Porsche is also equipped with a factory car alarm which consist of a proximity sensor, auto door lock and remote trunk release which is activated from the multifunction controls on the key fob.
Comes with two sets of keys, complete books, manuals & tools with unused spare tire, & most important the maintenance records from day one! The 30k, 40k & 50k maintenance has been performed by the dealership already. The PAINT on this car is awesome and shines great. Check out the pictures yourself and I think you'll agree with me. The interior is in excellent shape with NO rips or stains anywhere.
CLEAR CARFAX report and clean smog certified. This vehicle has NEVER failed an inspection. YOU will NOT find a cleaner and well-kept 2001 Porsche Carrera that is customized like this. This is not the cheap stuff either. This car cover hugs the body just like Spandex. Very soft but very strong and thick too. Made for indoor use only though.
