This 1971 yellow 914 is a desert car with no rust. It is intact and has been in storage for since 2003, when it was a daily driver. It has an 1800 cc engine with a dual carb manifold, but the carbs were removed a few years ago. It is a four speed and will run with new carbs. It has 117,000 original miles. The windshiled is cracked, and it has some minor damage on the passenger side from being bumped while in storage.

This is a 1971 914 Porsche. Has a Chevy V8 and a 915 Porsche 5 speed transmission. Porsche 911 axles and brakes. I've had the car a year. Motor was tired so I had "Perfect Engine" in Los Angeles build me a new motor. A good 350" 4 bolt block, SCAT rotating assembly (9:1 comp.),
Comp. Cams cam and lifters and timing set, DART iron heads, Edlebrock intake and carb. Put in a Kennedy Engineered Products clutch at the time. Car is amazingly solid for 40 years old. Couple BB sized spots of rust on trunk lid and one on roof pillar. Has a chassis stiffening kit. Video:

Hi, I listed this about two months ago..yep it's a 914 2.0 74 cal car (my sister in law's college car) i bought it while at Microsoft and dumped about 55+ grand in the body (not including labor that's for bright work, and ALL the goodies read the pdf i can send you), suspension and interior it is nowhere near stock way better (won awards etc)it's a roller + tranny (the motor i built was another 35 grand (2.6 liter typeIV, Motec, TWM throttle bodies, all Pauter everything inside and KB 103MM (454) p/l's but a racer in San Jose bought it cuz he HAD to have it....I’ll let this puppy go for 15 grand to the right dude/dudette..no V8 people please it needs a short stroke 2.8 with high butterflys+MoTec M600 or a 3.8. (When you shut the doors on this puppy you get all 911 noises no tinny 914 sound). To do it now like I did it in 96-97 would be over 70G's no motor..this car is not for the uninitiated or Porsche un-educated...i want to sell it to someone who will love and care and drive the heck out of it like i did for about 500 miles...then i parked it..it has been under wraps untouched since 1998..then life got REAL busy...i want to build another project yeah i know another 73 rs replica...well i fell in love with the rs when i was young...and i want to build it the way i did this car...for my island house (killer roads no smog rules) here is a vid link...email mail me for details and a ton of good pixs wheels off and stuff. here's the link

Car is completely rust free except for a small hole in the engine compartment. Runs great, shifts great. Just had new shift bushings installed as well as: front and rear shocks, tie rods, exhaust, front and rear rotors and pads, wheel bearings, headlights, new speakers and deck, new interior carpeting, door panels, and battery. I absolutely love driving this car but with winter approaching i need something to handle the snow. Otherwise this car runs great, i used it all summer and there were no issues.

| 1973 Porsche 914 Mileage indicates around 69,000 but that is probably on the low side. Motor is 1.7L with dome pistons. Recent engine work to install new rings, including main seals, gaskets, rings, head milled. Fresh oil and filter, of course. Webber carbs. Starts and runs goods but does need fine tuning. Goes well through the gears although the shifter is sloppy. All glass is good. Interior is complete including the center gauge console. Although there is not a lot of rust apparent on the exterior, there is rust on several spots at the underside. The car is not rust free but has a lot of life left with a little TLC. I will also include misc sapre sparts including new rear wheel bearings, spare starter and some new brake pads. I have a clear Nevada title in my name. Car is located in Long Beach. Hard to believe on a 39 year-old German auto! Original paint (Willow Green), all the original chrome trim and rubber is astonishly excellent, NO RUST, and the interior is complete and in very good condition. An old-school Nardi steering wheel and shifter are still in this vehicle and go with it! Having had many 1967 911S's, etc., this 914 was going to be my 914-6 conversion (flat-six) dream car. You won't find a finer factory chassis to do your own conversion on! They simply don't exist, or someone is asking astronomical prices? This chassis is like rolling back the clock to 1971, trust me! It's that nice and straight? I want to hear from "a serious-build enthusiast" who wants the finest chassis obtainable for a 914-6 project? | 1972 Porsche 914... solid project car. Hell holes are solid, not rusted through. Saturn Yellow. 1.7 engine was in running condition with a throw out bearing problem when pulled. Transmission is newly rebuilt, never run. Real 5 lug Fuchs 6x15 in great shape... with no curb rash. They have mild oxidation but polished one for 1 hour and it looks perfect... the next three will be the same perfect condition following a quick polish. Interior is mostly shot with some exceptions that are good pieces like targa top trim, rear head bolster, rubber seals, ect. Front trunk pan was cut out for airconditioning or oil cooler- needs to be addressed. Body is straight, door gaps perfect, no dents anywhere. Various small minor rust bubbles on lower door panels, hoods, etc. Nothing major... again hell holes are solid as well as rear trunk pan and floor pans. Rust issues are limited to various small minor paint bubbles on exterior only . Must sell saturday to pay rent. |

| This is a 1971 Porsche 914. This has been my daily driver for about 3 years. It has a good strong engine, fires up every time. Has trouble idling sometimes. This is one of the first fuel injection systems so it has problems getting gummed up. But keep injector cleaner in about every other tank and you’re good to go. The car is in fair shape good for the price no major damage. The main problem is the clutch is slipping. Bad. It needs a new one. I can drive it the way it is but not up any hills. It is also missing a driver side window. Interior is not in the best shape either. I think if you got a new driver seat it would be a drastic improvement. it has good tires. More good with the car than bad. You can get her in great shape with a small investment. I am asking 1500. Pretty firm. I am in no rush to sell. The car is in Hollywood I am showing it Monday. The transmission was rebuilt and upgraded to a 1973 side shifter style in approximately 1990. The original 1.7L engine was completely rebuilt in November 1993 at about 44,000 miles ago.
