Basically you are buying a car with 18k miles on the engine and the car drives like it.(2) Factory aerokit with front lower spoiler lip (minus the rear spoiler)(3) Litronic headlights option(4) 2002 Alloy wheels option(5) 4 brand new Pirelli P-Zero tires installed in March 2008.(6) Clarion touch-screen CD/DVD/TV Player with Monitor. The TV tuner allows you to watch tv! This was an $800 upgrade in addition to the cost of the Clarion unit itself.Blemishes:(1) DVD/TV monitor is stuck in the upright position. Also, for some reason the volume is stuck on one setting (however muting works). There may actually be nothing wrong and I just have it on the wrong setting but if not, this is obviously an easy fix. If you don’t want to bother, I still have the factory head unit with CD changer that you can replace the Clarion with.(2) Some scratches/rock chips/paint cracking on the front and rear bumpers. (3) AC doesn’t seem to blow out air as cold as it should be. Carfax Disclosure Notice (Important): If you run a Carfax report on this vehicle, it will alert you that there is an inconsistent odometer reading and that the last reported odometer reading was 51,235. Explanation: This was the result of swapping out the factory gauge cluster for an aftermarket one. The aftermarket one had the mileage of 51,235 (apparently the recorded mileage of the 911 is housed in the gauge cluster unit). Then I got a smog check for the vehicle and that’s when the mileage was recorded as 51,235. The aftermarket unit was kept on my vehicle for less than a month before it was swapped back with the factory unit (didn’t like the look of the aftermarket one). Yes, I am asking you to trust me with the explanation but this is truthfully what happened (and my seller feedback on Ebay [username is nal1977] is 100% positive which includes big transactions). The stated odometer reading in this ad of 113,1xx is the most accurate reading (give or take the mileage accrued during that one month but that amount is minimal). There is absolutely nothing wrong with this car, period. However, the extremely low price of this car is being used as compensation for this abnormality.I strongly prefer a local transaction so that we can talk about the car in person and I can answer any questions that you may have - buyer is responsible for pickup of the vehicle. For sale is a real Turbo Look (M491 option) Carrera Cabriolet. This is not an after market body kit. Few were built as coupes, fewer still as Cabs. And precious few have survived not being pressed into action as a pure track car. All the wonderful 930 bits, brakes, suspension, chassis upgrades and tire, with the 3.2 engine well known for being ‘bullet proof”. The ‘88 is the next to the last year of the model run. I am the second owner of this car, and it has my very reliable and well cared for daily driver since purchased in 1992. Beyond the usual options eg: cruise control, original stereo, premium speakers etc. After market bits include a Dino Wheel, Recarro drivers seat, front shock tower brace and roll bar (really improves stiffness and handling). Engine enhancements include a performance kit from German Auto in Knoxville Tn. Including a mass flow meter, Paxton supercharger, and a custom chip to bring it all together. In cockpit boost gauge confirms up to 4bar. This car was set up for the track but not raced (2 DE,s only)-I Rapidly became distracted by sailing..at least the whole family could be involved. | Hello, I have a beautiful 1999 Porsche Carrera with only 49,500 miles on the ODO. It is 6-spd manual. The car is seal grey with a full red leather interior. I am asking $30,000 obo. Unfortunately, I only have one camera phone picture since my camera was stolen, but I will take more soon and post them. The car is very powerful and puts you in your seat when you push on the pedal. It is also extremely fun in the turns, and absolutely grips the road, without the slightest hint of screeching tires (P-Zero 235 on the front and Michelin Pilot sport PS2 265 on the back). The car is in great condition and have only had to repair common wear and tear items such as the coils and ball joints in the front suspension (due to some light squeaking, but is perfectly quiet and smooth now) The interior has the full leather package, meaning no cheap plastics can be found in the car. everything, including the center console and even the roof is leather. The car has 18" turbo twist rims and the upgraded leather shift knob. The car has freezing cold A/C and a full sunroof in case you want to look out at the sky. I have also installed a great aftermarket navigation system. it is a double din unit, so it fits flush into the dash. The car has bluetooth integrated phone hook up, and a great iPod interface. Once you plug your iPod in, it is controlled by the touch screen on the dash. It has a DVD player built in and AUX inputs incase you want to carry some additional electronics in the car. It has a hook up for a rear-view camera as well (I believe the camera is under $100). There are a few minor chips on the car, but nothing very visible and would be completely hidden with a little touch up paint (which is included).
